If you are a Bailee Driver your Taxi Operator must take out appropriate insurances to cover you. These include Compulsory Third Party Property Damage Insurance and Worker's Compensation Insurance.
If you are an Operator Driver you are not obliged to have Comprehensive Insurance for yourself but you are well advised to do so.
As an operator driver you must still have Worker's Compensation Insurance.
In the case of a workplace injury, such as that occurring while at work you are entitled to make a claim under Worker's Compensation Insurance. As a taxi driver your workplace includes your taxi.
